I am so bad at time management. It's literally ridiculous how bad I am at this. I was hung over and was in bed until 130 today just letting myself try and re-hydrate. It was awful. So, to deal with this, I threw on lots of dark colors and made my eyes look as dirty as they could. Basically.

Cupcaking In The Morning

Ugh I totally forgot I had school today, and so I threw together a pin up look. I toned it down a bit though, with a dark purple liner instead of a black liner. Also, I got my Johnny Cupcakes shirt in the mail! JC has the best swagger, so I gotta rock it. Yeah, baby.

Into The Blue

Ok, blue scares me. It makes me nervous. I'm beige and have finally accepted my super dark hair and have hazel eyes that lean towards brown. Blue works beautifully with light eyes, but is harder for dark eyes. So, this is my attempt at playing around with it. Originally, I was doing a white lid with hints of blue, but hey, go big or go home, right? And yes, still no gold. MAC's Juxt eyeshadow has a great green tone that shines almost like a gold, but no real golds. Well, except for that gigantic ring (which I am obsessed with).

Not Enough Sleep.

This is what happens when I do my makeup in the car. Fortunately, I had my handy dandy 'Fun In The Dark' palette by Too Faced. Ugh, I promise better looks when I've gotten more rest... I went for a classic quick pin up look with pale eyes and black liner on top. Also, today is the first in a really long time I didn't have big fake lashes. Definately felt naked.

Sparkles And Silver!

There's something so beautiful about silver that makes me feel like a rock star. It's a little futuristic, cool, and kind of badass. I paired it with a really black liner on bottom, and none on top to make it look a little more edgy than usual. And the super long lashes for drama.

Dirty Glamazon In Action

I wanted something a little dirty, a little messy, and kind of fabulous with a rock star vibe. I've been doing a lot of golds and nudes and pinks. Gold is my big favorite fall back, but it's time for a change so I'm retiring golds for a week. A whole week! My entire senior year I only used MAC's Woodwinked eyeshadow (seriously...) and now I refuse to pick it up for seven days. Ok, so expect a lot of new fun stuff coming. I used a really dark color to line the crease in my eyelid to dramatize the shadow and the curve of my eyes. And black makes everything better, right?

Sky Rockets In Flight

I had to go to work today, so nothing crazy (sadly). But I got a new eyeliner that goes on really dark. It's this really highly pigmented liquid liner from MAC. Oh, and yes, I finally retired those Fashion Lashes in 110 (they were way past their peak) and switched to 113, which are a little bit shorter, but are really thick.

How To Bring Jungle Fever To Your Political Science Midterm

Ok, I am almost over doing leopard print eyes... Almost.. Ok I'm not but I can't do them tomorrow (it's a bit too crazy for work!) so today will be the last in the past few days worth of leopard print trial and error. This time I was trying for a white and pink toned leopard print, unlike the traditional leopard print I've been using.

This took about five minutes when I was getting ready for school, and it definately got some attention at 9AM from my teachers. But hey, gotta look fabulous, right?

I Got The Leopard On Lock

Ok I have it down to the point where I can do it in the morning! And by that I mean, I can do leopard spots in the morning when I'm half asleep and getting ready to go out into the world. I figured out the easiest way to do the spots. Like the last few posts, I used:

But instead of using the standard flat angled brush that is usually used with eyeliner, I used a tiny pointed brush that is usually used for lip liner. It came out very precise and was much easier to draw spots. A pencil eyeliner just wasn't dark enough, so the fluidliner pot is probably your best bet. Rawr.

I'm obsessed! With the same orange-gold makeup as below, I figured out a much stronger leopard look. No dark shadows, just dark spots. I wasn't sure how to draw the line of how far out the spots would go, but i just went a little bit above the lid and it had a nice frame to it. I tried to use a softer pencil, but it didnt show up as well as I liked, so I used a fluidliner. Again, with the same brown I used last time for the inner spots. I think I may rock this look to school...

Leopard Left Eye

My latest tattoo is inspiring quite a change. Yes, I know my lash is half off, but It's about one in the morning and they've been on through a very long shift. But this is done with a little pencil liner and a little circle of a warm brown eyeshadow for the 'spots'. Not bad for a first attempt, right? Don't worry, it can only go up from here. Hopefully... Well, either way I'm going to be trying it again and again until it's perfecto.

Bad Romance

Well, I have work tonight so I'm trying to put on a flirty face. The idea is a lot of white to make your eye look more rounded and a little touch of a cute pink-ish romatic color, and some pink love lips. And, of course, my standard big lashes. The thick black liner gives it a little pin-up look.

The new Liberty of London line by MAC is finally out! From hanging out around MAC stores for so long and chatting up people who I am jealous of (the beautiful people who work at MAC), I got the two powders on pre-sale. They're so beautiful! perfect blush colors for spring. I got Summer Rose and Shell Pearl.

So, in honor of my new tattoo (!!!), I've been looking up leopard print stuff today to match with it, and come on, what's a better accesory than great makeup? After a big mess and a handful of failed attempts, I gave up temporarily on doing this on myself, but I'm not a quitter, and I'm going to do it soon! These looks may be a bit intense for work or school, but I would so find an excuse to rock this.
