Leopard Eyes, Part Two & Graduation!

So I have a small tutorial on the last post on how to do leopard eyes, and this is the finished look. I went to go see Sex And The City 2 with my friend before graduation, and didn't have enough time to get lashes (ps, the movie SUCKED). But I found this glittery gold lashes in this store in Berkeley called Bancroft, which yeah, gets a lot of flack for being kind of lame, but I found these super fab lashes, and got them in silver too.

So, I'm rocking the cap because I graduated from comm college today, and then off to state school!

But yes, and I also did some big red lips to make it pop.

Leopard Eyes, Step One

Step One: Cover entire lid with MAC Goldmine eyeshadow

Step Two: Take a thin brush (I used MAC 266, a flat angled brush) to draw on the 'spots' or the black outlines of spots with a heavy liner, like MAC Blacktrack fluidliner. Pencil liners tend to not be thick enough, so go heavy handed to give the effect, but thin lines so it doesn't get too messy.

Step Three: Fill in spots with a brown shade, like MAC Bronze eyeshadow or MAC Mulch eyeshadow (I used Mulch here) and use a pointed brush to do so, like MAC 216.

Step Four: Go over the brow bone with an orange color just to give dimention, I used MAC Pollinator.

This is the look before any lashes or anything, enjoy!

Fire In The Rain

Of course, the second I get back to the Bay, it starts going all apocolypse rain on me. But hey, I'm graduating tomorrow before heading off to state school (I'm graduting comm college) so things are looking pretty good! I'm officially done with comm college!!! So I might as well look firey while I do it.

Sky Captain!

Ugh I was up at 6AM today! And I'm on college time, so that's really impressive. But I'm down in SoCal checking things out, flying away. I wanted something that would look fine after travel, so big lashes against a gold lid would pop enough to make me look awke. Working, right?

Passport Photo!

I don't know what's going on with my scanner, but it's not feeling me right now. But yes, even if it's tiny and blurry, you can still see my red lips and a little bit of my big lashes! WIN!

Passport Photo Day!

I have to get my passport renewed (I got my first one when I was 13!) so, for ID pictures and other stuff like that (where I will have to relive that picture over and over again) I try to go for classic looks that will come across through the tiny inch and a half square. So, I'm going with a classic, pin-up look and big red lips. I'm also rocking a turntable chain from H&M, just for funsies. I went through the effort of straightening my hair, too!

Bonjour, mes amis! Je t'adore! Ok, I only got up to French 2 in high school, but I remembered a lot of it! I went shopping a few days ago and Forever 21 was showing a lot of French-inspired looks, and I am feeling a little Francais today! Lots of pearls and lace and black, romantic in a classic way.

So, can I say, I was planning on posting this when I got off of work. I started at noon and figured I'd be home early evening. As it turns out, I started at noon and got out at eleven thirty. Oh, yes, eleven hours shift. Dummy overtime, dummy bank. This, by the way, worked at the peak of the afternoon into the night. So, good times!

Viva La Juicy!

This is what I smell like! I'm usually pretty faithful to Marc Jacob's Daisy, but I ran out and opted to try the tiny bottle of Viva La Juicy, by Juicy Couture. I've heard good things and so far, I like it, It's not necessarily ME, but it's nice for now (I totally miss my Daisy, though). So I tried to emulate the bottle today. Yes.
