Study Break?

I'm at Tully's, trying to get my education on. But most importantly, my lashes are so big that I can't wear sunglasses because they slam into the lense. This makes me happy. I'm wearing the same makeup as before, no touch ups yet. I'm using MAC FX spray to keep my face from moving, and it's working quite well. Lady Gaga uses Aquanet, but I'm just not that hardcore. Yet. PS, I TOTALLY got all my homework on King Richard II done!

Bright Eyed

The date went well. It was actually quite good. It put me in a great mood for today, so I've got the big lases and the bright colors to express it. Like! Hopefully we'll be on for a second date soon. I'm also working on more fun lip looks! Since there's a lot of color going on on my eyes, I did a more neutral toned lip with my new lipstick and my favorite lip liner. Enjoy! The world is beautiful! Lip Treatment

I got to go out shopping yesterday, and in addition to some fun stuff I got, I hit up the MAC counter and got some fun lip stuff! The first three are from MAC's Art Supplies collection (so obsessed) and they are MAC's lipstains (!!!) and the last is a lipstick that MAC just introduced. Expect lots of fun lip looks!

First Date Makeup!

I have a date today! Ok, here's my theory on this: Keep it light. Conversation, touching, and makeup. Nothing too heavy, or it'll be too much on the first date. Be cute and feminine. So I went for a clean, neutral but crisp look that was still cute, but not overwhelming. Wish me luck, he's cute!

I'm so mad! It's been rainy all day, and all I want is the sun. I figured if I rocked some rays on my face, then the sun would be inspired to come out of hiding. I didn't put any liner on to emphasize the colors. Sun, come back out!

The color is everywhere! EVERYWHERE! Or at least it should be. I'm working on warmer colors that arn't gold... I didn't use a black liner because it didn't need to be as dark with a darker warm color like this reddish color. FIRE! Im really giggly right now, I'm being groped on my octopus. Hi Jugsy!

Tiger, Tiger

Im on my color high, and today I'm doing orange. It seemed really harsh on my skin, so I toned it down with some liner on top. That makes it seem less... ORANGE, or in your face. Then some lashes just for funsies. I coated my top lids over and over again with a buildable orange to get that bright, highly pigmented color. Yes, I know, I look like a tiger.

I need some color in my life! I've been doing simple, creamy pin up looks all week, so this is a much needed splash of color. I LOVE the new MAC Art Supplies eyeliners, they're super pigmented and they go on so smooth and stay in place! Love it! I ordered a bunch more last night to play around with, and I'm excited! And no fake lashes, just that POP of color :)

I haven't been ignoring you, I promise! Oh, poor blogesphere, I hope you'll forgive me. I feel like I overposted for a while, and now there's a big gap between posts. Oh well. So I just got into our hotel, I'm exhausted. I've been up since five am, ate exactly once (despite TRYING to find food desprately all day), did not drink enough water, and have seen zero cute boys (biggest bummer). Well, actually the thing I'm most bummed about would have to be the fact that my black Ray Ban Wayfayers broke! They were in my purse all day and at some point they shattered on something. This is my RIP post for them. My darling shades, you will be missed.

On The Road Again...

I got my new MAC stuff in the mail today! The flat circlular things are eyeshadows that go in the pro palettes (usually they come in some little pots). Poker Face? Purple Face

I love purple. It's my favorite color to use on my eyes. I can't resist a good purple liner or shadow. It's amazing. I got my latest MAC fix when my stuff from their Art Supplies collection came in yestereday (!!!) and this liner came with it. AH it's so beautiful! And I had it on all day at work and it didn't budge at all. I'm in love.

How To Step It Down

So I had to meet up with someone fun last night, and I decided to tone down my makeup. If you look at my last post, (Glittering In Gold) I had bright gold and purple going and some big lashes. What I did was take those lashes off, swipe on some mascara, and go over the whole lid with MAC's Shroom to tone it down. The result was much more subtle and a lot more appropriate for the situation.

Today's Outfit

I got hit on way more today than I have in a while. I'm not quite sure what it is, but two different guys came up to me and tried to talk and get my number, and quite a few times guys were yelling at me from across the street or saying little things when they walked by.

Yes, it did creep me out. I hate hate HATE getting hit on. But, I figured there must be something fun going on with what I'm wearing to bring this on. So, here's my get-lucky outfit for today.

I missed you, my darling gold. I forgot I had to go to school today, so I had to throw this together really quick. I did gold because it's been getting sunny again (!!!) so I was celebrating. But I didn't look awake enough, I just looked bright, so I threw on a bit of a darker shadow on the edges to make me look like I've been up and alert for a while.

Tricks Of The Trade

Now, of course, if you've read this, glanced at it, or met me, you know I'm a HUGE fan of HUGE lashes! LashGrip has been my favorite lash glue for a while. I know a lot of people use Duo lash glue, and I've used it for a while too, but I think that LashGrip dries better on my eyes and is less noticable than Duo glue.

And I love dinsoars. RAWR RAWR RAWR. That's why they call me Andreasaur :)

Details In The Palette

As you can see, I'm a huge fan of MAC! I got two palettes to start holding in my shadows. I have a gigantic pile of eyeshadows (as you can see, if you wanna check out the post I did on my makeup drawer) and palettes are just easier to haul around. I just found out that MAC makes refill palettes and shadows, so I've been converting to palettes.

The top palette is my frosts and shimmery shadows, and I use these colors the most and they were the first ones I got. Left to right, top to bottom:
